New Otakon Guests

Japanese band Angela is best known in North America for their work on the opening and ending themes of Stellvia.

Hong Kong action director Tony Ching Siu-Tung is well known for many of his movies, including Steven Chow's Shaolin Soccer (action director) and Jet Li's Hero (choreographer). The live action adaptation of City Hunter is also one of the many movies he has worked on during his 30 year career. Otakon will host a special North American premiere of Hero.

Matt Thorn is a translator and cultural anthropologist specializing in manga and comics. He worked as a translator at Viz during the nineties, translating Nausica? of the Valley of Wind, Sanctuary, Banana Fish and more.
