Fifth TMNT Movie in the Works As 25th Celebration Kicks Off

A fifth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film is planned for release in 2011. The live action film will be the fifth feature starring the Turtles.

The news comes as the 25th anniversary celebration (see ?Turtles 25th Anniversary?) kicks off. Events include lighting the Empire State Building in green, a special outdoor screening at the Tribeca film festival where up to 10,000 people wearing Turtles masks will try to break the record for the most people assembled as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the kick-off of the national bus tour.
