Konami's 'Pegasus League' OP For Experienced Players of All Ages
Date: 12/22/2009
Konami has created the Pegasus League, an organized play program for those Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG players who enjoy playing in tournaments that reward creative deck building and innovative strategy. The weekly Pegasus League tournaments will be held at participating Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Tournament Stores. Rules for deciding which cards from which YGO releases, which change on a monthly or bi-monthly basis in order to enliven league play, are available on the Pegasus League Website.

Each contestant in the weekly Pegasus League contests has to pay a $5 entry fee and receives a Turbo Pack. Players meet weekly and play a Swiss Round event using decks that comply with the current League format. Players receive points for completing rounds, winning Swiss Round matches, and the overall tournament. Each month all the players? points are totaled and monthly prizes are awarded to players who amass the four highest point totals (see ?Konami Launches League Play?).

Konami also plans put on Pegasus League: Deck Challenge tournaments at major events including GenCon.
