'Video Business' Shuts Down Other Reed Mags in Flux

Video Business has published its last issue, according to an announcement from the magazine, and both the magazine and Website are being shut down. It was put on the block in July (see ?PW, Playthings, Video Business for Sale?) by owner Reed Business Information, along with most of the other titles in the division.



Readers were directed to sister publication Variety, which Reed intends to keep. Competitor Home Media (Questex) remains as the sole major trade magazine for home media retailers.



Reed also closed two other titles, Manufacturing Business Technology and Industrial Distribution, this week.



Reed expects to announce the sale of other titles to multiple buyers in the coming months,

according to Reuters, and to close additional titles.
