'Evangelion' in Theaters In January
Date: 11/29/2010
Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance will be released theatrically in January, according to Hollywood Reporter. The new feature, which was one of the top five films in Japan last year, is being distributed by Cinema Asia Releasing, Eleven Arts and Funimation Entertainment.

The distributors are expecting release on 70 to 100 screens, according to the report.

Funimation has the digital and home video rights to the feature (see ?New Evangelion, Hetalia Acquired by Funimation?).
