Wonder Woman TV Show on Hold Date: 1/10/2011 |

The Wonder Woman TV show being developed by veteran showrunner David E. Kelley is on hold, according to Deadline Hollywood. The show, which Kelley started developing last fall (see ?Wonder Woman on TV?), was shopped to networks last week but did not find a home. The Wonder Woman show may have been turned down by ABC, potentially the best fit, because of the Marvel shows being developed for the sister company network, according to the report: Hulk (see ?Eick and Del Toro on Hulk?) and Jessica Jones (see ?TV Show Based on Bendis? Alias?). High costs were a factor at some other networks. The project is being shelved, but could be taken out again at some future point. |
