Henry Cavill is Superman December 2012 Targeted

Henry Cavill has been cast as Superman and Clark Kent in the upcoming film from Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. (see ?Zack Snyder to Direct Superman?). The new Superman film is now slated for release in December 2012, according to the companies.
Cavill played Charles Brandon in The Tudors, and has some geek credits from his roles as Humphrey in Stardust and Mike in the video Hellraiser: Hellworld.
Director Zack Snyder said of the casting, ?Superman is the most recognized and revered characrer of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return ot the big screen?. Henry? is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.?
The Superman screenplay is by David Goyer (The Dark Knight).
