New Packaging for L5R Collectible Storage Boxes

Before the Dawn, the upcoming expansion for the Legends of the 5 Rings collectible card game from AEG, will feature new, higher quality display boxes that can double as card carriers. These upgraded boxes will become the standard packaging for the new Emperor Edition scheduled to release this fall.

Both starter and booster displays will now come standard in sturdy store display boxes that can be used as card or deck carriers. Each expansion in the new story arc will feature different artwork, focused on two different clans. Over the course of the entire expansion arc, every clan in the game will be featured on a display box. The starter display of each expansion will have artwork for one clan, while the booster display will present a second clan. This packaging is envisioned by AEG as a bonus for fans who purchase full displays.

Before the Dawn, the last expansion of the Celestial Edition arc will be the first to feature the new packaging. The two clans featured in this expansion will be the Mantis and Crane clans. Before the Dawn will be legal for tournament play during the Emperor Edition arc.
