New 'Captain America' Movie Poster Plenty of Red, White, & Blue

Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures have released a new poster for Joe Johnston?s Captain America: The First Avenger film, which is slated to debut on July 22nd. The poster features a medium close-up of a tanned Chris Evans, who plays Steve Rogers, along with his trademark shield.

The new poster appears as Paramount is ramping up the publicity for the fourth and final superhero movie of the summer. A new trailer for the film will be released later today. Check back here later to catch the action in the trailer, which debuted at the L.A. Times Hero Complex event, and which focuses on the Steve Rogers? transition from 97-pound weakling to super soldier.
