Anime Fusion Mall Tour From Geneon and Musicland

Anime News Network has reported that Geneon and Musicland are partnering on a national mall tour featuring Japanese singer Yoko Ishida, who's a popular Japanese vocalist that has recorded many anime theme songs. The Anime Fusion tour will feature her performances in nine Suncoast and two Media Play locations in major malls across the country, accompanied by the Para Para dancers, who embody the dance craze from the Para Para Paradise videogames (see "Para Para Dance Craze Hits U.S. Comics").



The tour of the eastern half of the country begins in Mall of America in Minneapolis on September 3rd, and wraps up in Manhattan Mall in New York on October 2nd. The tour of the western states begins at the Westlake Shopping Center in Seattle on January 7th and ends at the Ingram Park Mall in San Antonio on February 4th, 2006.



The Musicland stores will feature special merchandising of related DVDs, CDs, and other products tied to Yoko Ishida and Para Para Paradise.
