New Ghibli Museum Shorts Announced

The Gibli Museums has announced that, starting on January 3rd, it will screen three shorts created for the museum by Hayao Miyazaki.

November 2, 2005 New Studio Ghibli Museum Shorts Announced
According to the Studio Ghibli Museum site the three new short films will be screened at the museum starting January 3, 2006. They will be screened one by one, but the detailed schedule is not available yet.

Nausicaa.net reports that the movies will be screened one at a time, but that no schedule has been announced yet.

The first movie, "Yadosagashi" (Looking for a Home) is a 12-minute original story, written and directed by Miyazaki.

The second movie, "Hoshi wo Katta Hi" (The Day I Cropped a Star) is a 16 minute movie based on an original story by Naohisa Inoue. Inoue is an artist that contributed some art to Whisper of the Heart. Hoshi wo Katta Hi takes place in Inoue's world of Iblard and is written (screenplay) and directed by Miyazaki.

The third movie is "Mizugumo Monmon" (Water Spider Monmon), an original story written and directed by Miyazaki.
