Simon & Schuster to Handle Viz Sales

Earlier this week Viz announced an expansion of their agreement with Simon & Schuster. Effective this month, Simon & Schuster, which has handled Viz's fulfillment and invoicing since 2004, will also handle sales and sales management. Viz hopes that Simon & Schuster's large sales force will help expand their market share in traditional (ie: Barnes & Noble) and non-traditional (ie: Target) retail outlets. Viz products will still be available from other existing distributors such as Diamond and AAAAnime.
