Otakon Statement Regarding Fan Art Date: 2/2/2006 |
| Otakon has issued an official statement in regards to their upcoming policy change regarding fan art. While the statement does not outline the new rules it states, "Otakon is NOT implementing, nor has it ever seriously considered, a total ban on fan art," and "The changes will allow us to address problems created by those who insist on pushing the limits of fair use, or who are blatantly exploiting copyrighted materials for profit." |
