Spider Riders on Teletoon Date: 2/8/2006 |

Bee Train Animated TV series Produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Teletoon will be airing the Spider Riders series that we previously reported about here. The show will premiere on March 25. The March 25 premiere will be a 90-minute special presentation / sneak peek at the series, which joins Teletoon's regular schedule in summer 2006. The series is based on the Spider Riders books, created by Tedd Anasti & Patsy Cameron-Anasti with Stephen D. Sullivan. Production of the 52-episode TV series was handled by Bee Train, a subsidiary of Production I.G. The series is directed by Koichi Mashimo and scripted by Yousuke Kuroda. Olga Romero of Cookie Jar Entertainment (Formerly Cinar) said of Spider Riders, "It has a Western feel but the Japanese anim? look." |
