Funimation news from Katsucon Date: 2/20/2006 |

New license and release schedule -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Funimation announced today that they have acquired the license to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. The series will be released in North America as Rumbling Hearts. Volume 1 will be released in October 2006. Funimation also announced they will be moving to a monthly schedule (4~5 weeks) for numerous new anime, including Desert Punk (as of volume 2), Negima, Moon Phase and Rumbling Hearts. Speed Grapher, Trinity Blood and Basilisk will be released every 7 weeks. The release schedule will be based on the manner in which Funimation receives the episodes. Months for new show releases: Desert Punk - February Mr. Stain - February Speed Grapher - July Basilisk - August Negima - August (pushed from July for extras) Moon Phase - Late August Trinity Blood - September |
