More Cameron on Battle Angel

James Cameron told Associated Press a bit more about the Battle Angel live-action movie. "It's going to be a combination of live action and (computer graphics) but done photorealistically. There will be CG characters and live-action characters."

He expects to start shooting in May of June this year and there will be about 1,500 visual effects shots.

Although they originally planned on a 2006 release, the movie is currently planned for 2007 so that they can "ride the impending wave of digital cinema." The movie will be released in 3-D and 2-D theaters, and will require the 3-D glasses for 3-D viewing.
