New Shonen Jump Graphic Novel Line

ICv2 reports that Viz will be launching a new label for graphic novels called Shonen Jump Advanced. Shonen Jump Advanced releases will be aimed at an older demographic than the Shonen Jump titles, which are aimed at 8 to 18-year-olds. The Shonen Jump Advanced target demographic will be older teenagers (15+) and young adults.

Shonen Jump Advanced titles will carry a lower suggested retail price than other Viz titles, $7.99.

The first three Shonen Jump Advanced releases, Eyeshield 21, Hunter X Hunter, and I"s, will released in April and will be rated T+
