009-1 Anime Details

A press conference for the new Ishimori Entertainment TV series animation 009-1 was held in Tokyo August 9th. It begins running on TBS and BS-i from October, 2006. Based on the original manga of the late Shotaro Ishinomori, in the story, the cold war continues for 140 years, the main character is a female secret intelligence officer "MyIene Hofmann" that belongs to the western block. This is Ishimori Entertainment's first anime project with Aniplex and TBS teaming on production. The premiere is October 5th at 2:00, thereafter broadcast will occur on Thursdays weekly at 1:25. Staff includes Director, Character Designer, and total art supervisor Naoyuki Konno, Music by Iwasaki Taku, Music Production by Anipreccs, Animation Production by Ishimori Entertainment, Animation Production Cooperation by Ishimori Professional ism Studio, Production Cooperation courtesy Aniplex, C.Itoh & Co.
