Hokuei-ch? Honors Gosho Aoyama With Museum

The hometown of Gosho Aoyama, Hokuei-ch? in Tottori-ken, will create Aoyama G?sh? Furusato-kan, a museum honoring the creator of Meitantei Conan (Case Closed).
The Hokuei-ch? cultural facility currently has a section about Aoyama and the town will remodel the cultural facility exhibit into Aoyama G?sh? Furusato-kan. The budget for the museum is approximately one 194 million yen (US$1.65 Million).
Aoyama G?sh? Furusato-kan will open in March of 2007. There will be a display with the North America version of the Case Closed manga, released by Viz Media.
Hokuei-ch? has already done several machi okoshi projects related to Meitantei Conan, including Conan Bridge across the River Yura and Conan statues in the town.
