Hachette Moves into Manga Date: 11/11/2006 |
| The Hachette Book Group is launching a new imprint called "Yen Press" that will focus on comics and graphic novels. According to Publisher's Weekly, Yen Press will focus on publishing licensed manga. Yen Press will be directed by Rich Johnson, former VP of DC Comics, and Kurt Hassler, former graphic novel buyer for the Borders Group. Hassler and Johnson will report to Megan Tingley, VP of Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. |
