Hayate No Gotoku! Animation In 2007

Kenjirou Hata's Romantic Comedy manga Hayate No Gotoku! (Hayate The Combat Butler) will be adapted to TV series format according to Shonen Sunday. Details including a possible staff are unclear at this time however. Scheduled broadcast is set for sometime in 2007. A special telephone card promoting the decision was sold at publisher Shogakukan's booth at Winter Comiket. Viz Media has licensed the manga for release in North America, the first English graphic novel volume was released in November. 7 collected volumes exist on the Japanese market. Prior to the official confirmation a few weeks back, The 25th World Hobby Fair had posted information about the move and then imediately deleted it, perhaps leaking word too early.
