Kara No Kyokai Animation Official

On August 8th ANS reported TYPE MOON's first novel Kara No Kyoukai will be adapted to a 26 episode anime TV series. The Nasu Kinoko work preceded "Tsukihime", which gave the Dojin circle super cult status in Japan, catapulting them into a full fledged business and leading to the commercialization of their many properties. While the source of the purported TV conversion came out as an apparant a hoax, plans for animation were not. On December 28th concrete plans were announced to adapt the novel to a full length animated feature film. Ufotable will animate and Production will come through Aniplex. Rakkyo shopping bags were being passed out by Aniplex who promoted the project at their Comiket 71 booth. You can view a video trailer at the above link.
