World's Largest LCD Display To Become Digital Blackboard In Schools

Asahi Shimbun has a pic of Sharp's new 108 inch (1.35x2.4 meters) touchpannel LCD display that they are looking to get into schools as the first digital blackboard. The standard blackboard / marker board is around 1.2x3.6 meters. Japan has an estimated 49,000 schools including cram schools, prepschools, universities and graduate schools.
