Pretty Cure Mania Sweeps Japan

The broadcast start on the 6th of Toei's Futari Wa Pretty Cure Max Heart TV series has of course been getting alot of attention in Japan. The young girls animation has a feature film and full-on merchandise marketing blitz which will commence in the coming months. The original series drew the highest ratings for girls 4-6 years old at a 52.8% share for the October 24 2004 broadcast. Over 600,000 units of a cellular phone toy related to the work have been sold. Success is no stranger to Dragonball series director Daisuke Nishio is headlining the work. The movie opens in April.
