New Winny Computer Virus Uses Kanon Imagery

A new Japanese trojan horse virus called Trojan.Pirlames has been discovered spreading through Japanese P2P apps and file sharing networks such as Winny and Share. The Trojan masks itself as a Windows screen saver file and is often named in file sharing lists as an anime episode such as Master Of Epic: The Animation Age. In some instances, upon execution the user gets an image popup featuring a screen grab from the Kanon animation / game series and the following message reffering to the creator of Winny: "Even though Mr Kaneko (Creator of Winny) was found guilty, you are still using Winny. I really hate these kinds of people."
