Shigeru Mizuki Receives Angouleme Trophy Date: 2/27/2007 |
| Mangaka Shigeru Mizuki's comic Non Non Ba by Shigeru Mizuki has won the the Prix du Meilleur Album at Angouleme, France's Festival International de la Bande Dessinee. Its the first manga to take the prize. Sanin Chuo has image of the author holding his newly won trophy. The win was announced on January 27th, but it took the physical trophy sometime longer to reach the Gegege No Kitaro author. |
