NHK Anime Docu TV Program Updates

NHK's BS Manga Yawa is planning a 4 night Ashita No Joe Marathon between March 27th and 31st. Interviews will include directors Osamu Dezaki and Shinya Tsukamoto. Meanwhile, NHK BS2's Anime GIGA helmed by former Newtype Japan editor Takashi Watanabe continues its evowed mission of interviewing charismatic personalities related to animation production in Japan. The first broadcast occured without a hitch on March 1st where voice actor Koichi Yamadera (Spike Spiegel - Cowboy Bebop) appeared as a guest. When the irregularly broadcast program returns to the airwaves on Tuesday, April 24th Haruhi Suzumiya (aka: Aya Hirano) will be interviewed.
