Freecon This Weekend
Date: 4/6/2007
FreeCon, an annual anime and gaming convention held at the Florida State University, is being held this today through Sunday. Launched in 2003, the event attracted 250 attendees in 2006, and as the name implies, admission is free. The convention encompasses three days with non-stop anime screenings and videogame tournaments, as well as discussion groups, and live performances. More information available here.
