Manga Creator Kaoru Shibayama Passes Away at 43

Manga creator Kaoru Shibayama passed away of heart failure on April 14. She was 43. She drew several manga series in Monthly Shonen Jump during the 1980s and 1990s, including Rival (1989-1994), Chara! (1995), and Giri Giri Purin (1996-2000). She was working on Mugen Sh?jo Dreamer Angels for the magazine Bimonthly Comic Valkyrie when she passed away. Source: ComiPress
