Aniplex Unifies Licensing Business

The Sony-affiliated anime producer Aniplex has unified the licensing arm of it's in-house created works. A proper office extension will be created in April. Until now, the company has consigned the administrative tasks involved there to Sony. Aniplex dipped it's toes into the water so to speak in this vein this past fall when it managed the license of 'Gallery Fake' and 'Alice' on it's own. Now Aniplex is set to exclusively handle the licensing of Full Metal Alchemist when the move is complete. Royalty income has been estimated to increase up to 300 million Yen within a year following the implentation of the new strategy.
