ADV Licenses Air TV, Movie
Date: 4/27/2007
ADV Films co-founder Matt Greenfield announced at Anime Matsuri that ADV has licensed both the Air television series and the Air Movie remake. ADV was able to complete the deals despite having to acquire the two projects from different licensers. Both anime versions of Air were inspired by a fan-favorite visual novel software release by Key, the creators of Kanon and the more recent Clannad. The first volume of the four-disc Air series will ship August 14, with the Air Movie to follow in late 2007.
