Bandai Visual Hosts Freedom Director at Anime Expo

Bandai Visual USA has announced that Freedom director and Kakurenbo creator Shuhei Morita plans to attend Anime Expo 2007 as its guest. Freedom is the six-episode space adventure video series that will be the first HD DVD anime release in the United States. Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira, Steamboy) storyboarded and designed this Sunrise production. The first English volume ships June 26, and Bandai Visual has already opened its English Freedom website. Anime Expo 2007 takes place in the Long Beach Convention Center in California from June 29 to July 2.
