Akihabara Idol Halko Momoi to Perform at Anime Expo

Anime Expo 2007 has announced that former Under17 singer-songwriter and voice actress Halko Momoi will perform at the June 29-July 2 convention at Long Beach, California. Momoi sang and occasionally wrote Under17's theme songs for such anime as Genshiken and DearS. She has since performed solo with three albums and several singles. She has also voiced anime characters such as Komugi (The SoulTaker, Nurse Angel Komugi). She became famous through her online journal and street performances at Tokyo's Akihabara shopping district.
