Geneon to Offer Akira in HD, Anime Shows on Xbox Live Date: 6/4/2007 |
| Microsoft has announced that Geneon Entertainment will offer anime titles on the Xbox Live Marketplace on June 12 in addition to Funimation. The virtual market will exclusively offer the American HD debut of Akira. The other launch titles will be GUNxSWORD, Last Exile, Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, and Lupin III. Geneon will be offering many of these same titles on Bittorrent via Vuze. ADV Films was the first major anime distributor to announce offerings on Xbox Live Marketplace. |
