"How-To" Mag for Manga to Launch This Fall in Japan

Seibundo Shinkosha, the publisher of the Animation Note "how-to" monthly magazine on anime industry techniques, announced in the latest Animation Note issue (on sale June 16) that it will launch a similar Comics Drawing magazine for manga creators this fall. Like its 18-month-old anime sister magazine, Comics Drawing will offer drawing tips, character designing tutorials, and interviews with leading artists. Bijutsu Shuppansha has been publishing the Comickers Art Style semiannual periodical in the same field. Source: Chuosha
