Free Mushi-Shi Showings in New York, Texas July 23-24
Date: 7/18/2007
Funimation is holding free screenings of the first four episodes of the critically acclaimed Mushi-shi television series in New York and Texas on July 23 and 24. The screenings will be held at New York City's ImaginAsian Theater on July 23, Copperfield's Studio Movie Grill in Texas on July 23, and San Antonio's Alamo Drafthouse in Texas on June 24. The supernatural fantasy anime series won awards for outstanding television series and art direction at the 5th Tokyo Anime Awards in 2006. The first DVD goes on sale on July 31.
