Starz to Air Richard Roeper Anime Special in December

The Starz television network will premiere the Anime: Drawing a Revolution documentary, hosted by movie critic Richard Roeper, on December 17. The documentary will profile leading Japanese animators and their influence on Japanese culture and Hollywood films. The documentary will be part of Roeper's monthly Starz Inside series that premieres this September. Chicago Sun-Times columnist Roeper and his recuperating Ebert & Roeper series co-host Roger Ebert have favorably covered several Studio Ghibli films and other theatrical anime in the past.
