New York Children's Film Fest to Screen Anime Short

The New York International Children's Film Festival will screen Kiyoshi Nishimoto's "Laughing Moon" anime short as part of its Kid Flix Mix collection of twelve international shorts on August 25 and 26. The screenings will take place at 11:00 a.m. on both days at the IFC Center in New York City. "Laughing Moon" is a six-minute experimental film that animates the classic Japanese art of tangram to tell stories.
