Lone Wolf and Cub Writer Starts Copyright Info Company

ComiPress is reporting that Kazuo Koike, the writer of such well-known manga as Crying Freeman and Lone Wolf and Cub, has launched a company that will work with other manga creators to educate them about copyright issues and their rights to intellectual property. Kazuo Koike Gekiga Sonjuku Co., Ltd., an extension of Koike's long-running manga artist training program whose graduates include Rumiko Takahashi, will also focus on specific cases of copyright infringement of Japanese entertainment products abroad.
