Astro Boy Essays Author, Tokyopop Editor, Japanime Head Interviewed

The Animation Insider website has posted an interview with author and translator Frederik L. Schodt, in which he describes the personality, works, and legacy of "God of Manga" Osamu Tezuka. Schodt was a personal friend of Tezuka, translated several of his manga into English, and recently published The Astro Boy Essays: Osamu Tezuka, Mighty Atom, and the Manga/Anime Revolution book. The Newsarama comic news website is hosting an interview with Tim Beedle, the editor of Tokyopop's properties from Jim Henson such as Labyrinth and Dark Crystal. MangaBlog interviews Japanime publisher Glenn Kardy on the company's manga-based books for learning Japanese and future expansion plans.
