Good Things Come in Green Packages

On Nov. 13, Funimation will launch anime line The Viridian Collection , with 12 releases featuring episodes from such shows as Dragon Ball Z , in non-Amaray cardboard casing consisting of 30% recycled material.

"Wal-Mart has been going to all the vendors and saying they want us to participate in some post-consumer waste programs," says Ward Thomas, Funimation senior VP of sales and operations. "That is not to say the decision is solely about Wal-Mart, but it triggered us to evaluate our corporate direction."
