3 X 3 Eyes Canceled?

According to a lengthy discussion in the manga news forum, information has surfaced from reliable sources that indicate that Dark Horse has ended their run of publishing the 3 X 3 Eyes manga series. The last solicited volume, Vol. #9, has also just been removed from the preorder section of Right Stuf indicating it's been canceled. The last volume of the regular edition, Vol. #8, came out in May 2004 (at $18.95) while the only two 2nd Edition releases of the series (at $14.95) came out in May 2003. 3 X 3 Eyes has long been plagued by horrible release patterns since its first graphic novel started in 1995.
