Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence Ani-Manga

Viz, LLC has announced the April release of a four-volume full color Ani-Manga box set for Mamoru Oshii's Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. The box set has a suggested retail price of $39.99 and is rated "T+" for older teens and adults. The special four-volume set utilizes more than 2000 full color stills from the film to depict all the action from the acclaimed sequel, which was released by Dreamworks in North America in 2004 eight years after the appearance of Oshii's original Ghost in the Shell feature film.



Fans will appreciate the fact that as in the Japanese editions each volume will come with a dust jacket, and the set will include the complete and uncut Japanese sound effects as well as a bonus glossary. The elegant box set also contains an essay about director Oshii and the film, which was adapted from the manga property created by Masamune Shirow.
