Anime Illustrator Passes Away Date: 11/16/2006 |
| Illustrator Koichi Murata passed away last week at the age of 67. He was the president of Oh Production and worked as a key animator on Panda Kopanda, animator on Anne of Green Gables, and executive producer for Serohiki no Goshu. Among those at his funeral were Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, Toshio Suzuki, and Michiyo Yasuda. |
