English Anime Mags Profiled, Otaku USA Plans Outlined

ComiPress profiles this year's field of English-language anime and manga magazines, including several new additions. The Williamsport Sun-Gazette interviews Mark Hintz, the chief executive officer of Sovereign Media/Publishers Service in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Hintz reveals that Sovereign's Otaku USA magazine published 100,000 copies of the first issue (on sale this week) and plans to publish monthly next year. ANN is a partner of Protoculture Addicts magazine.
