Ichigo Ichie Anime Shorts Announced Date: 8/31/2007 |
| Anime network Kids Station has announced that they are developing a series of thirteen 5-minute anime shorts based on the Ichigo Ichie series of stationery products. The series was originally developed by stationery company Mindwave. Products with the series characters on them, which usually come with messages of encouragement or greetings for friends, have become very popular among middle school students in Japan. The phrase "Ichigo Ichie" is a Japanese proverb that roughly translates as "treasure every moment" or "treasure every encounter." Source: Ultimatum |
