Dr. Master Offers 'Divine Melody' First Volume Due in January Date: 6/12/2008 |

Dr. Master has announced the acquisition of the on-going seven-volume shojo series Divine Melody, a gender-bending historical fantasy about a female fox demon, who has the power to become a man able to sire celestial fox children. When she is saved by two human children she befriends, she marks her saviors, and two hundred years later when she has attained her male form, she discovers the reincarnated souls of her benefactors and attempts to bring them together, but sets up a romantic triangle instead. Divine Melody is the creation of Taiwanese artist Yi Huan and was originally published in Taiwan by Tongli. Dr. Master plans to publish Divine Melody Vol. 1 ($9.95) in January 2009, and issue subsequent volumes bi-monthly. |
