Anime Expo Attendance Date: 7/8/2004 |

Anime Expo 2004 was the first ever North American anime convention to break the 20 000 attendance mark, and they broke it by a significant margin. At the closing ceremonies on Monday, Anime Expo announced a preliminary figure, as reported by their registration system, of 23 532 attendees, but they have now amended that figure to 25 000 unique attendees. This represents an increase of 8 000 attendees over the 2003 event, and a growth of 47% |
