Satsuki and Mei's Home Permanent Exhibit? Date: 4/22/2005 |

Ghibli Considering Permanent Exhibit for Popular Expo Attraction -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tamaoki Kentaro of the Expo 2005 Public Relations office informed ANN in early April that the Satsuki and Mei's Home exhibit would not be kept permanently at Aichi, but it might find a permanent home elsewhere. In his recent apology regarding tickets to the exhibit, Toshio Suzuki stated, "Currently we are considering to build the house once more, to make it possible for the country house be visited even after the world exhibit has ended. The place and time have not yet been decided, but we want to set up a permanent exhibit." The popular Expo exhibit, based on the home inhabited by the characters of My Neighbor Totoro, has been an extremely popular attraction at Expo 2005. |
