New 'Shugo Chara!' Manga 'Shugo Chara! Encore!' in February

Peach Pit?s popular shojo manga series, Shugo Chara!, which is published here in the U.S. by Del Rey, will end its run in Japan in the February issue of Kodansha?s Nakayoshi magazine, which, according to the Anime News Network, will also include the first chapter of Peach Pit?s sequel, Shugo Chara! Encore!.



In January Del Rey will publish the 8th of ten volumes of Shugo Chara! that have appeared in Japan, with the 9th volume due out here in North America in late July, 2010. The magical girl saga is regular on ICv2?s list of the ?Top Ten Shojo Manga Properties? in North America. A 51-episode Shugo Chara! anime series from Satelight is available here in the U.S. on the Crunchyroll Website.
